“Oppenheimer” is an exceptional film from Christopher Nolan featuring a career best performance by Cillian Murphy. The 4K UHD earns a perfect score and our absolute highest recommendation.
“Token Taverns” is a documentary that focuses on the recent surge of “barcades.” Made independently, the film hits its stride when it focuses on how the bar owners pivoted to deal with the pandemic.
Elizabeth Banks’ ridiculous comedy-horror “Cocaine Bear” delivers laughs and gore in equal measure. Universal has given the film a great looking and sounding 4K release that will please the fans.
Universal Pictures has given Scott Derrickson’s “The Black Phone” a proper UHD release. Adapted from a Joe Hill story, the film is a very well made horror-thriller with a supernatural twist. Definitely check it out!
“Evil Dead Rise” puts a new spin on Necronomicon and Deadite based scares in a new environment. It’s a rollercoaster ride. Alyssa Sutherland delivers a star making performance in the film. Warner has given the film a 4K UHD release.
