“The Lady from Shanghai” is a deliriously strange film noir. Directed by Orson Welles, the film was recut by the studio, but still works. Rita Hayworth dazzles as a bombshell blonde. Sony has given the film a 4K UHD release.
“Wild Things” was one of the last erotic thrillers to see large scale success at the box office. With a strong neo-noir story and sly sense of humor, it has aged well. The Arrow Video 4K UHD is gorgeous.
Joseph H. Lewis directed this interesting film noir thriller that is very different from his other films. Arrow Academy has provided a great looking transfer provided by Sony.
