“The Dead Zone” is one of the best Stephen King adaptations and one of Cronenberg’s better films. Shout! Factory has given the film the release it deserves and that fans have wanted.
“Scanner Cop II” continues to develop the world of Scanner Cop Sam Staziak and introduces the villainous Volkin played by Patrick Kilpatrick. The 4K UHD from Vinegar Syndrome is impeccably done.
“Scanner Cop” is an enjoyable piece of mid-Nineties straight-to-video science fiction. Vinegar Syndrome has done a truly exceptional job restoring the film on their new 4K UHD release. Fans of this film or genre should consider it a mandatory purchase.
