“Wag the Dog” has some fantastic ideas it explores regarding media manipulation and politics. As a satire, it still works well. Warner Archive’s Blu-ray is very good thanks to a new 4K scan for its source.
“The Untouchables” benefits from great direction by Brian De Palma and a strong cast made up of Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, and Robert De Niro. The Paramount UHD release is a vast upgrade from the 2007 Blu-ray release.
