Le Mépris is one of Godard’s finest works. The film finds Godard working with amazing collaborators (Coutard, Bardot, Piccoli, Delerue) to create a memorable work of art at the peak of his powers. The 4K release is beautiful.
Louis Malle’s sweet natured crime drama Atlantic City, starring Burt Lancaster and Susan Sarandon, is celebrating forty years. Paramount Pictures have given the film a Blu-ray release.
