In a world of remakes and sequels, Aguirre, the Wrath of God remains a singular achievement from one of the great maverick filmmakers, Werner Herzog. The film is beautifully made and a testament to maniacally pursued dreams. Shout! Factory’s 4K edition is remarkable.

Scream Factory has given Don Coscarelli’s “Bubba-Ho-Tep” a 4K UHD release. It is the only film that features Bruce Campbell as Elvis alongside Ossie Davis as JFK battling a mummy that preys on the elderly.
Oliver Stone has worked with writer James DiEugenio, the author of “Destiny Betrayed,” to create a spellbinding tour de force documentary about who and why JFK was assassinated. Shout! Factory has given the documentary a proper release that earns our highest recommendation.
